Restaurant Manager / Assistant Hotel Manager Required to work alongside the new owners of this pleasant restaurant within a pub setting in it's rural and coastal location.
Main Duties will be: General/Restaurant coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts; managing staff throughout their shift and providing them with feedback; responding to customer complaints; ensuring that all employees adhere to the company's uniform standards; meeting and greeting customers and organising table reservations; advising customers on menu and wine choice; recruiting, training and motivating staff; organising and supervising the shifts of kitchen, waiting and cleaning staff. Liasion with Head Chef and Management Front of House-deputising for owners in their absence
Housekeeping: maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety; helping in any area of the restaurant when circumstances dictate.
The working week will be 5 days out of 7,with a mixture of straight and split shifts
