The Lymehurst Hotel is high on our list of favourite local places to eat.   Andrea and Kevin are doing a fantastic job at the hotel.   The food continues to go from strength to strength and over the course of the past year we have had a quite a few very enjoyable visits to the restaurant.

We haven't managed to get down to the new venture in Kent's Bank yet but hope to do so in due course.  Discussions with colleagues and acquaintances point towards a great start, so we hope to visit soon.

If you haven't been to The Swan Hotel at Newby Bridge lately, it might be worth a trip.  The downstairs restaurant has been revamped with a new menu.  The food is relatively good but watch the service, it can be slow.

I recently attended a function and found the food had been provided by The Bridge Café - it was great and well worth considering if you have a catering need.   We haven't eaten there in sometime but I am hearing very good reports.
